How long does the process take? 

The full process typically takes about 5 business days. We want you to be satisfied with your resume. The more information you give us the more complete we can make your resume.

What industries do you work in?

We work across many industries! However, we specialize in the trades, retail, and mid management roles. At this time we do not have writers that are able to assist with specialized healthcare or advanced technology resumes. Check back again in the future!

How do I communicate with the writer?

We communicate with everyone by phone, email, and video calls. After all your information is submitted you will attend an online video call where we will introduce ourselves and get to know you better. Any purchased documents will be sent by email.

What is ATS, and why should I be concerned? 

ATS or Applicant Tracking System is designed to assist Human Resources (HR) in candidate selection. One job opening can result in thousands of resumes submitted and the ATS is supposed to help HR sort through that stack. However, it often leads to good candidates being missed. We design all of our resumes to not get hung up in the ATS.

Will my resume be truly customized?

Short answer, yes. A standard template is often used to create the framework for your resume but all the content is created based on the interviews we do with you. Our goal is to get your resume to stand out from the rest.

What happens if I don't like the resume I receive?

We always want to put out the best product! We take pride in being personal with our customers, so please call or email if you have any concerns with your resume or job search.

What information do you need from me? 

The more information we get from you the better! We will do a phone call with you so we get a good understanding of you and your goals. Other helpful information would be:

  • Links to jobs you are interested in 

  • An old resume(s) and cover letter

  • Descriptions of school accomplishments

Am I guaranteed a job with a professional resume?

Unfortunately this is something we can not guarantee. We do want to monitor our success rate so please let us know how your job search is going once you have received a service from us. Do not hesitate to reach out at any time.

Will I get to provide input through the process?

Of course a resume is extremely personal and worrying about lack of say in the product can often be someones main reason for turning down resume services. We recognize how personal a resume can be and how believing in your resume can bring a new level of confidence. Please email if you have any comments about your resume at anytime. We also provide PDF and Microsoft Word versions of the document so they can be edited with any small changes in the future.

What is the difference between you and other writing services? 

Our team is focused on getting your resume read. Part of that process is doing analysis of the positions you are applying for to come up with a strategy for displaying your experience. Whether you are targeting a specific position or more of a general industry we get to know you in order to bring your resume to life.
